Guy Abernathy, PE, Principal
Guy graduated from Auburn University in June 1979 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree and is registered in the state of Georgia (PE#15252) since 1985. He has also obtained professional license in the state of North Dakota PE7697 in April of 2012. In addition, Guy is a Level II Certified Design Professional for Erosion Control Design from the Georgia Soil Water Conservation Commission.
Guy has managed design over commercial, residential, multifamily residential, industrial design including truck terminals, several industrial business parks, hospital sites, apartment sites and commercial sites. He has performed or managed Road design, Driveway Intersection permits, Culvert Design, Detention and Flood Plain analysis, Project Coordination and Management, Pump Station Design, Force Main Design, Outfall Sanitary Sewer design, and Storm System Design. Guy has developed a special talent and ability as an expert witness in Department of Transportation “Cost to Cure” cases. Guy has a unique ability to analyze site conditions and roughly, but accurately estimate damage to property owners in cases of condemnation and eminent domain. Guy has worked with local attorneys and County officials to represent the damaged entity with exceptional knowledge of costs and cures (references upon request) without the expense of full designs and costly engineering. Guy has developed his talents in estimation and preliminary site design to quickly assess sites for the purpose of value engineering and create a viable workable plan to proceed in design with the most practical plan of action.
Guy and Julie have been married for 35 years and have two married daughters, Fran, a school teacher and Anna Lee a realtor. Guy and Julie are avid horsemen and own a horse farm in Jackson County. Guy enjoys golfing, billiards family gatherings and tending his Jackson County horsefarm.

A. Richard Whitlock, P.E., Principal
Mr. Whitlock has worked in the Civil Engineering field for over 20 years. In those years, he has performed materials testing, site design, hydrology and hydraulics, dam inspections, stability analyses, web design, database development, erosion control planning and road design. He graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2003.
In his addition to his professional activities, he also likes to use his creativity through other channels. His creations include website design, application development and the development of engineering calculators.
